To Chris Cashin and to whom it may concern, very few people I suspect.
When I saw the screenshot Graham posted on this forum recently, I must admit the Ivor Cummins post on twitter, asking whether you suffered from a mental impairment, gave me a chuckle, I gave it no serious thought at the time. In light of your antics here over the last few days, I'm beginning to come around to the fact, Ivor is a very astute man indeed. Just for the record yet again, I have not stated you have a mental illness on this forum, and I have not removed any of my posts since the start of the forum, nor has anyone else.
Let’s separate the facts from the fiction, it’s my view you have had a problem doing this for a long time. For instance, this old chestnut you have peddled around social media on numerous occasions regarding reporting me to the Police. You never ever made a complaint about me to the Police, your complaint was that you had seen a comment posted on our blog, where you had been described as a “Welsh bint”. This comment never featured in any of our articles, posted by the low carb team, it was posted in a comment by an anonymous poster. As a courtesy to the Police and you, I immediately deleted the anons comment. That was the long, the short and the end of the matter. This was reported on our blog in detail on Wednesday the 10th.of August 2011.
Only this weekend you were still tweeting the screenshot placed below, rather slippery of you don’t you think, especially when you have blocked me from reading or commenting on your twitter account. “You are blocked from following @CardiffNC and viewing @CardiffNC's Tweets.”
You also claim to have been harassed by an “obsessive group of low carb diabetics” I put it to you, that you harassed the low carb diabetics incessantly. Your rants against low carb were never ending, yet you never offered any sound advice. The well respected low carb expert Dr. Katharine Morrison summed up the situation perfectly, when she rebuked you in her position of forum moderator. See below.

You also stated in your complaints on this thread “if you post on social media you can expect responses” No argument there, but what gives you the right to post what you like, where you like, and feel you should receive only responses that fit your agenda or rants of misinformation? If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
One last point. You have used the words obsessive and obsession, arguably the only thing you have got right. Our low carb team has been obsessive in our quest to spread the low carb word for over eight years. Obsessive in our desire to help diabetics to a safer place. Obsessive in our fight to undo the damage done by people who should know better. Much of what you and the BDA has spouted on forums, blogs and other social media for years, was and remains useless, dangerous and scientifically illiterate. Obviously I believe I can prove this.
Please feel free to comment on any point I have made, I relish the chance to debate the issues. In the interests of transparency, I would like any ongoing dialogue to be out in the open, either on our blog or why not join here.
Kind regards Eddie
