Yes, it even got me grumbling Evil or Very Mad

'Uproar as Asda quit selling loose fruit and veg' says one headline

'I don't want a bag of carrots' say  Shoppers' after Asda stop selling loose fruit and vegetables

I was in our local Asda only yesterday and I experienced  the same thing.
Sometimes you may only want to buy one onion, one carrot, one courgette ...

Shoppers have reacted with fury after supermarket Asda appears to have stopped selling loose fruit and vegetables.
Customers have spoken of their shock at finding only bagged produce at stores in Bristol and Lancashire and have accused the chain of causing food waste.
Many have vented their anger on social media, posting pictures of supermarket aisles only containing pre-packed fruit and vegetables.

I'm not sure what the reasoning behind Asda's decision is.

Have you any views on the matter?

    All the best Jan

An ASDA spokesman said today "we don't know what all the fuss is about, the only customers that eat fresh vegetables are those low carb scum bags" affraid he went on to say "the low carbers won't be happy until all we sell is real food, and that sales in junk food were plummeting" thumb-up

    Go to a Real Shop?

The Co-Op sells some stuff bagged and some loose, be interesting to see if they follow suit, but the quality isn't a patch on what we get from the greengrocers and farm shops.
