Jeff Volek Petition for Dietary Guidelines Changes

    Post by Paul1976 on Thu Oct 15 2015, 12:26

Professor Jeff Volek has launched a petition via Change.org that we think is extremely important. Every five years the United States government reviews their national Dietary Guidelines and the next set of guidelines are expected to be announced by the end of 2015. Prof. Volek has launched his petition to demand that these guidelines should eliminate the one-size-fits-all eating plan approach and recognise the insights of newer, better and more credible science.

Australia, New Zealand and much of the world have historically followed the lead of the United States when reviewing their Dietary Guidelines and we believe signing this petition could help to save millions of lives from the current epidemic of obesity and Type-2 Diabetes.
