Eddie's cartoon above reminded me of an incident, and one reason I don't eat pigeons.

Friends had a dinner party including pigeon with chestnut stuffing but something was definitely off. During the evening we started grumbling and farting, then running to the loo. It got so bad we were coming out of the loo and immediately rejoining the queue to go back in again.

I succeeded in scoring the semi-mythical 8 on the Bristol Stool Scale.

That's the one where the turd comes out as an aerosol and splatters all over both arse cheeks, the bowl and the ceiling . . .

I know that feeling. Donkeys years ago I stayed at Butlins Minehead and went down with food poisoning that made dysentery sound like an easy gig. Up all night shitting and puking. Next day into the Camps quack, and described the situation clearly. The oaf asked for more detail and said "help me man give me more detail" I said to him what do you want from me, your office pebbledashed.

Oh God, yes it's even worse when it comes out of both ends at once and you don't know which to put over the bowl first.

I've hardly even had mild problems since I started low carbing, occasionally I have missed a day or three and even more occasionally I've had a slightly urgent turn-out, by far the worst was when I ate that sesame seed baguette.
