    Hopefully after many claims of a cure over the years this is the one that has the potential to effectively work.

    Would be nice if it STAYED working! So long as the autoimmune process that trashed the original beta cells doesn't come back - ISTR some of the earlier transplant experiments required the taking of anti-rejection drugs for life.
