What! No gerbils?

OK I placed this in the jokes thread, but limping into and A and E with an object up your jacksy can't be much fun. Over at the Daily Mail they are running a story about what people get up to with various household items while doing a Monty Beantipper, that's very kinky behaviour if you don't know Monty. The first comment from a wit I read said "What! No gerbils?" Jeez he had me laughing.

Unbelievable ! I wonder how the medics manage to keep a straight face sometimes. Before I was diagnosed, many years ago, I was attending an EMT refresher class at work. The lecture was on diabetes. These classes always ask for real life stories and group participation. A guy put his hand up and told us that he'd heard one of the best ways to deal with a hypo is to place a Mars Bar directly into the bottom as it gets into the bloodstream quicker ! The lecturer smiled and just shook his head in disbelief !
