I Kicked The Bucket Empty I Kicked The Bucket

    Post by chris c Wed Aug 31 2016, 22:48

    on Saturday.

No, I LITERALLY kicked the bucket.

It had been very windy and my laundry was nicely blow-dried.

When I went to fetch it in I noticed the wind had blown my bucket onto the lawn.

Like an eejit I decided to kick the bucket back onto the patio.

Got my foot stuck, twisted my ankle and went arse over tit into a rose bush.

Growing old is not for wimps. . .

    Oh dear Sad

Hope your ankle gets better soon, and hope you didn't end up with too many bruises.

    All the best Jan

Took a few days to get back to walking rather than hobbling. I was looking in the window of the scooter shop and thinking "won't be long now" . . .

The thing with getting older is ... bumps and bruises do take longer to heal.

When growing up many of my older relations would complain about this ... and now I too am doing the same thing.

Oh well, I'll keep smiling  Smile

... and put the kettle on, time for a cuppa I think   cuppa

Actually the healing process improved markedly since I started low carbing, as did the not catching things in the first place.

But this hasn't had any impact on stupidity
