Last week I saw the dentist in the morning and got my broken tooth and filling repaired, which was less traumatic than I - or he - was expecting. The worst part was when he used the ultrasonic cleaner, some of my teeth are still jumping.

Then I saw the podiatrist in the afternoon. The nails on my left foot - with the worse circulation - had only grown about half as long as on the right foot, but they all looked a decent colour. It's a pleasant change to see a medical professional and talk about LCHF, David Unwin, Aseem Malhotra etc.

Yesterday I saw the doctor to get another thyroid test, just the TSH this time which I suspect will be near normal already. My vitamin D result finally came back - 95 which is pretty decent.

She flinched visibly when I said

"That'll be all the grass-fed butter and cheese!"

For people who can't get this done on the NHS

I'm toying with adding some K2 and maybe other things to what I'm getting already, see if I can't blast some more of the plaque from my arteries. K2 and D3 among other things tend to move calcium out of places where you don't want it - such as arteries - and back into the bones and teeth where you do. Won't taste as good as the Vacheron d'Or though.

Goodness, what a day dentist and podiatrist. But pleased to read all went well.
... and the day before the Doctor (all you need now is the optician appointment!)

My teeth/gums are very sensitive ... always have been and I use Sensodyne toothpaste, which seems to do the trick.

I still haven't tried the Vacheron d'Or - really must get around to doing so.

Wow, you've got a busy month of appointments ... hope they all go well.

I think at times many may see these appointments as 'a bit of a pain', something else to be fitted in, some may even question are they worth it?
In my opinion ... Yes, is the answer.

Best of luck! - although you probably won't need it.

Hint: buy a box of cornflakes put it in a shopping bag and carry it to your appointment with the nurse. That'll shut her up. Someone I knew carried the same box of cornflakes to her dietician appointments for years. Never opened it, certainly never ate any, just carried it to the appointments and took it home again.

Thanks for reminding me about the optician, I haven't been for a long time. I expect I'll need new glasses by now.
