    Bank Holiday's Empty Bank Holiday's

    Post by Jan1 Fri Aug 22 2014, 22:26

Here in the UK it's 'August Bank Holiday' weekend. True to form the weather forecast is not too good. Although it's still August temperatures are going to be un-seasonable around 5 Celcius, so the lovely weatherman on BBC seemed so pleased to tell us.

The roads are invariably very busy as I know many families have get-togethers. I must admit Eddie and I try to stay off busy roads but you can't always do this. Perhaps we'll go fishing!

If you are a Dr Who fan bet you can't wait 'til Saturday Night to see the start of the new series .....one of our sons can't wait and I've strict instructions not to phone at a certain time. I think it's Peter Capaldi in the starring role?

Anyway whatever your plans have a great weekend - 'talk' soon. sunny

A whovian ! I've heard of Trekkies for Star Trek fans and the conventions are very very popular too.

We wont tell anyone you may be sitting watching Dr Who tomorrow  lol!

    I'm having a hot tub.
It won't be until we've changed the car, had a new bathroom and found out about new contracts and restructures at work.

But I'm having a hot tub.

Andy a small tip. Next time you go into a hot tub, don't share it with a fly blown rabid monkey. Shocked  Laughing

lol, at the gym there are 8 hairy men that seem to hang out there all the time, i dont get why 8 fully grown hairy men would want to share a bath? i tried it one day it was empty though, the other time i tried it was on our honeymoon in cornwall 15 years ago, we had one in our love nest lol, nowadays it would just be a nest

There are different chemicals you can use.

I don't like the stinky itchy ones at the gym, but when it's your own you can choose UV light sterilisation, and other much gentler chemicals (including colloidal silver, I think). I'll be going for one of those...
