    Went to a CPD last night on the RAW diet for pets which l am now a fan of but didn't know a lot about and learnt a lot. Speaking to the speaker for a time before hand and statins came up. l said that l had heard that statins have had no proof to have saved any females life.
    She said that apart from hormone tablets generally drugs are not tested on women due to our fluctuating hormones, it screws up the trials. Not sure if this is true but it wouldn't surprise me.

    Statins are regarded as totally useless for women over 50, I reckon they are useless for just about everyone else. Even the big pharma propaganda proves at best only a few extra months of life for some, the down sides are many as millions have found out to their cost.

    Regarding cats and dogs, diabetes rates for them is going through the roof, like us they did not evolve on cereals and other high carb junk. They are carnivores and need meat and animal fat. Ever wondered why we have canine teeth? Tells us all we need to know.

    Yup agree Eddie part of the problem though with raw is people do not eat healthy themselves so they do not feed pets healthy RAW in a lot of cases it is simpler to say just use biscuit. However if wanting to do a good job and more balanced then this short CPD was a big help. And she also talked about nutrition in general which l was very interested in
