LCHF Christmas hamper Empty LCHF Christmas hamper

Post by Sally Tue Dec 23 2014, 07:21

Elsewhere on this forum, we have laughed, cried and possibly even foamed at the mouth over the Christmas hamper designed for diabetics by our leading diabetes charity. (What are they trying to do to us?) So it's our turn now. What would you like to find in a hamper on Christmas morning?
This households dream hamper would contain:

Some really good quality, proper English cheeses, maybe a stilton or a Cheshire.
    Real Italian salami.
    Smoked salmon.
    Olives.
    Preserved lemons.
    Nuts, walnuts, almonds and pistachios.
    Venison, or a grouse.

What would you like to add (or take away) to make the official LCHF hamper?

    How about

    Some great French cheese Epoisse
A couple of bottles of good Rioja
Extra heavy real Cornish clotted cream
A couple of bottles of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc
    Some top quality crab
And a big bag of Macadamia nuts

Every good LCHF hamper should include cheeses, avocados, olives, macadamia's, low carb fruits such as blueberries, raspberries and thick clotted cream.

    All the best Jan
