I have booked on the midnight Soltice Reaper Race 20th June 10k and obstacles. Other half has stated he is going to be in bed in CB (our m/home) while l do my midnight run.

I then need fast recovery as doing the 10k Total Warrior the following week in Leeds at which l am hoping Andy from here is joining me on well us as my other half is also entered.

    Admiration all round.

A family member did once join a midnight walk for a local hospice ...and raised much needed funds.

Hope all goes well with the training.

    All the best Jan

Thanks Mo l am told it is great fun no one knows where the heck they are and hope the light in front is heading right.
Ankle is loads better now l am cleared for every other day lower body exercises provided no pain during after or the day after. I did a 5min run last Sunday, hub was starting to try out his new shoes for the TW race. They are inov8 minimalist and to avoid injury you need a long transition 5mins running a week for 4 weeks then stretching it out as time moves on.
All was great l actually enjoyed the run through the woods, never liked running before. l am very nervous so being probably overcareful but l want to get healed correctly and not mess up.
This week no running as been long hours at work down Oxford but l am hoping to now start as better shifts coming up.
