    A Masterpiece

A critique of paradoxes in current advice on dietary lipids

    Bill Lands

I've read references to this paper but it was paywalled, now thanks to Alexandra available FOC.

Sheer scientific brilliance and an antidote to dogma. Dieticians should be forced to read it even if it means propping their eyelids open with matchsticks and putting them on a glucose drip until they have finished, it's 30 pages long.

The Angry Chef should be forced to read it twice.

Next to tackle some of the other papers in his copious references

I recognised the Steinbergs as soon as I looked, for some reason I'd already read and downloaded them but they seem to be retitled, so now I have them twice.

I missed out the last in the series

    http://www.jlr.org/content/47/7/1339.long

and the followup which I seem to have closed and frankly can't be bothered to refind, they are all a case of "know your enemy" in support of cholesterol and statins. He comes close to realising it's not LDL but BROKEN LDL which may be a problem, but turns away at the last moment.
