Are you a jeans person? I am, they are so comfy and as the fashion guru's say 'you can dress them up or down'

I've lost count of how many pairs of jeans I may have purchased over the years, but I prefer my denim a lighter or mid blue shade to the very dark type!

I'm definitely not into the ripped jeans look.
Nor am I into the muddy jeans look affraid
Apparently this is the newest kind of jean design and only cost ... wait for it ... £330, yes £330.

Is that right Andy - will you be buying your girls a pair soon Question
I certainly will not be buying the grandchildren any, and these days even the young ones have an eye for fashion Smile

For all you jean types, or just those who may be interested in seeing these new fashion jeans here is the link

    Sorry it's such a long link ...
Don't forget to leave feedback here, a comment, on your thoughts ...

Hey who knows you may already own some muddy jeans and can provide us with a photograph  Shocked

Cheers for now, I'm off to enjoy a cuppa   cuppa

    Yeah probly lol

    How ridiculous!

I recently went into debenhams for a couple of new pairs, I like levis, I had to ask an assistant to help me find a pair that didn't look like 10 year old work jeans, I said if I wanted a pair of jeans that looked like work jeans, I'd wear work jeans, the worlds gone mad!

Although I have lived and died in jeans I have found I love dressing up for golf, golf clothes are great and very smart (cost a fortune)

I only wear suits for weddings and funerals as I am very unsocial I don't have to wear smart very often

We recently went to a 90th birthday party for the guvnors great aunt, so we are going through the clothes being pulled out of the wardrobe all over the bed thing trying to decide what to wear, she reckons I should wear trousers and smart polo, I am fighting this idea but she says Dennis (her sisters husband who also works and plays golf with me, we are partners in crime) is wearing jeans and a polo shirt and if I go too smart he will feel bad, so trousers and polo it was, when we walked in, it was a posh doo and EVERYONE was wearing suits, including bloody Dennis! I could have died, I felt terrible all night and oh my god did I have the hump with the guvnor, this was made worse by the fact she didn't understand why I was so cheesed off with her grrrrrrr, so never ever again will I, 1. Listen to her and 2. Go anywhere without a shirt

Sorry long story not worth reading lol

Reminds me of the spray-on mud that was sold at enormous expense to the owners of 4x4s in London.

My jeans - and my car - contain REAL mud. Perhaps I should EBAY them.

    I don't mind your 'long stories' ...

Yes, golf clothes can be expensive.
I've not played golf but over the years while Eddie was playing have walked around quite a few - on a nice day what could be better.
The tea and coffee at the 19th hole were always enjoyable too   Wink  Exclamation

I do own some golf 'polo style' tops. I find they are so comfortable to wear with jeans ... but I had to laugh when the sales assistant asked 'does Madam play golf?'

Knowing what to wear can be problematical, I've found that even when checking on what the 'dress code' is going to be choosing the wrong outfit can still happen  Embarassed
    'grrrrrrr' indeed

Hope you have a good Bank Holiday Weekend

Yes sizes do differ between makes ... which can be annoying.
I think over the years we may all find our favourite makes and try to stick with them ...

Anyway over the bank holiday weekend, I will be wearing jeans LOL!

EBAY ... now there's an idea!
It never ceases to amaze me what you can buy on Ebay, and it's still so popular.

Have a good Bank Holiday Weekend - I believe Minsmere may have some special 70th birthday celebrations!

Some of those old photos took me back! I remember the old car park, and the huts, including the one on the beach, and the old hides. One of the retired wardens used to sit in one of the hides giving a running commentary on everything that was going on outside.

While they were building the new Visitor Centre we used to have to park at Dunwich Heath National Trust car park and walk down. I think it was free in those days, now it's four pounds bloody eighty for the car park, so if I do go I park in the road, if I can find a layby. Minsmere is still free though, well the car park is, non-members have to pay for the reserve access.

I tend to steer clear of these places during holiday weekends, they get a bit crowded and there are so many other places to go that the tourist hordes don't know about.

Little known fact - British Sugar used to collect the soil washed off the beets and resell it to gardeners. I wonder if they were also the source of the aerosol mud. Likewise the mud for the jeans.
