    Prediabetes Again

More of the iceberg is revealed. Soon sick people will outnumber "healthy" ones. In fact they probably do since this looks only at HbA1c.

Look at insulin a la Joseph Kraft or Gerald Reaven and undoubtedly even more will show up. "Pre-prediabetes" and from there it's turtles all the way on down . . .

Trouble is for those with "pre-diabetes" the dietary advice is just the same as that for us diabetics low fat and plenty of starchy carbs here, guaranteed to push them over the edge to diabetes diagnosis

"All these different types of carbohydrate will be digested
into sugar so limiting portion size is important."

Yeah like a portion size of zero or not much more.

Fortunately there are more and more sources of Clue to be found.

    More on prediabetes

the "low carb" diet was surprisingly high, I can't help thinking this could be seriously improved, plus I'd like to see 1 hour postprandials as the Gold Standard for "reversal".

well of course it is doomed to fail if they use low fat diets

We know the answer though it would deemed inappropriate to prescribe a low carb diet to put pre-diabetes into remission
