Thanks for reminding me about President butter a while back, I've been eating it since the Wyke Farms stuff went off the shelf, deelish! Otherwise I tend to buy Anchor or Kerrygold, and top up the butter drawer in the fridge when there's a special offer on, which is never nowadays
I suppose the Big Picture is that more people are returning to butter and avoiding the margarine so the supermarket has guaranteed sales at full price.
The shelf space where the Wyke Farms butter used to be has been filled with a New! Improved!!! margarine which contains butter. You just couldn't make this stuff up.
