Sid Bonkers-The gift that never stops giving.

Post by Eddie on Wed Sep 21 2016, 16:57

Anyone that hangs around at diabetes.co.uk aka the forum of flog, has heard of the cretin that goes under the pseudo name of Sid Bonkers. Mo hit the nail on the head when he described the bonkers one as a complete bell end. Bonkers the semi bedridden advocate of "portion control" that's a starvation diet to you and me, and not a euphemism for sexual abstinence, is at it again.

A member makes a post regarding her diabetic very young daughter. She states "Before anyone says, I am meeting with daughters dietitian to discuss but I already know it's not at all harmful for kids to follow LCHF" The poster is looking ahead to when her daughter starts School, what might be the ramifications. Well none that I can think of. Bonkers has other ideas.

This from the number one bully boy in the history of the flog. Has this oaf become so jaded he believes everyone is tarred with the same brush as him? Say what you like about Sid, he is consistent, but unlike fine wine, he does not improve with age.

Type two diabetic-low carb diet (50 carbs per day) and two 500mg Metformin pills per day. Apart from diagnosis HbA1c almost 12-all HbA1c results none diabetic. For over eight years my diabetes medication has not changed. My weight has remained stable, I have suffered no ill effects from my diet whatsoever. Every blood test has proved, I took the right road to my diabetic salvation. For almost seven years, I have asked medical professionals and naysayers, how do I maintain non diabetic BG levels on two Metformin other than low carb ? The silence has been deafening !

Still the same old Sid pontificating about a subject he knows nothing about, why on earth he should stick his nose in a T1 thread is beyond me  Neutral

To be fair to Sid he has at least not reverted to his usual belligerent rants, that would suggest he's taking his medications and is back on the anger management course  Cool
