    Now that IS interesting!

When I started testing I was limited to around 15g carbs at breakfast and 30g by evening. Now it's more like 10g at breakfast but 50 - 80g and sometimes even more by evening (not that I DO eat that many carbs, just that I CAN on occasion)

I always assumed this was due to differing levels of insulin resistance. It's very common in Type 2 and quite common with Type 1 - but then there are some anomalous folks who have a higher carb/insulin ratio in the morning, mainly but not exclusively Type 1s. So maybe part of this effect is actually lower insulin production.
