    pre digestion

    Post by Andy12345 on Mon Feb 08 2016, 18:36

its been on my mind for a long while but never actually asked so here goes

if its true that the worse kind of potatoes are mashed because they are pre digested, and fruit better to eat as fruit rather than a smoothie for the same reason?

does this suggest that not chewing our food properly would be more healthy, letting our stomachs break it down slower? I've always thought that chewing food properly was the best way to go, although I've never actually done it

Just talking about chewing our food!
Surely chewing food properly is important?

I read an interesting article by Franziska Spritzler recently ... have a look here

"Many people eat their food fast and carelessly.

However, eating slowly may be a much smarter approach.

In fact, studies show that slower eating can help you feel more full and lose weight.

This article explores the benefits of eating more slowly, for both weight loss and overall health."
