Here is the latest video from our low carb friend in the US Bob Briggs. Bob is a great guy who was once very overweight - you wouldn't believe that now though looking at this latest video. I love the way he just talks ... and explains things. I think it makes it easy for us all to understand. Just listen and watch - I am sure you will like this video.

What an excellent video! Such a nice, simple, clear way of explaining a quite complex issue. More and more people seem to be talking about intermittent fasting and, maybe it is the way to go, but I am always so ready for my (low carb) breakfast, approximately 12 hours after the previous night's meal and I tend to be very pleased to get a light lunch another six hours later.

I think it's a case of working out which fasting regime works for you. A while back I tried the alternate day 36 hour fasts and found it bearable, but not particularly workable. My new regime is working really well because I've never been a fan of big dinners - with a hiatus hernia and long history of reflux, sleeping was often quite uncomfortable after a large meal. So eating a reasonable breakfast and my main meal by 2pm, leaves me with a 17-18 hour fasting window. I'm sleeping better too!

As of this morning, 4.6 kgs lost since starting 50 days ago cheers
