    Seventh Anniversary

    Post by graham64 on Sat Apr 04 2015, 23:30

April 4th 2008 was the day I was diagnosed affraid , apart from the first few months I've been LC/HF for all that time, not bad for a fad diet as the bonkers one calls it  Rolling Eyes

Still waiting for all the dire consequences that were forecast by the anti's Sad no sign of scurvy, osteoporosis, renal failure, constipation or any other complications that they mentioned

Eddie, John, Ray, Libby, Alison are just a few of the others who have reached or are approaching the same milestone as me.

7 years is a decent amount of time for one to consider LCHF as a successful way of life rather than a fad ! Keep up the great work Graham !

Nice one Graham! Here's to many more years proving them wrong!! cheers

What was the minimum amount of carbs our brains need to survive peddled by the antis? 130 or so grams a day they say isn't it? Bit of a giveaway that it's bullshit considering we're still able to use our PC's and type these messages years down the line! lol!

Thanks beardie Cool  It took a bit of determination and a lot of will power for the first 12 months but it got easier as time went by now I consider LC as a way of of life not a merely a diet.

I never really counted carbs as such I just ate my meter but I do avoid all the usual suspects rice, pasta, bread etc. I guess I have between 50 and 60g a day.  The split between meals and snacks varies apart from breakfast which due to erratic fasting levels is minimum carbs.

Same here Graham! The DP is something I've never been able to tame Sad Minimum carbs for brekkie too and the rest of the day my levels are pretty rock solid.

It's a bummer Paul isn't it, I tried everything to try and improve my levels but soon came to the conclusion I'd just have to live with it.

Never tried a small portion of Cornflakes though  lol!
